There is nothing like the first time you are...intimate with the one you love. It's absolutely electric. The feel of her soft lips on you lips, neck, shoulder. Thousands of nerve endings and hair follicles connecting as your mid-drifts collide. And it's a feeling that can't replicated in any other way. A truly unique experience. And it becomes this addiction; this overwhelming urge to find that moment again.

And people come, people go. So you're caught with nothing but the memory of that moment when you had everything you could ever want from the world, and can think of nothing else but getting that back. It's one of the many futile battles everyone fights. But I just can't accept a no win situation. Isn't it possible that things might work out as we want them to? I get that this world wouldn't be interesting if there wasn't conflict – be it of the body, the mind, or the heart. But shouldn't we win eventually?

You said it best. The reality is, at the end of the day, I go home alone. And you don't. So that answers that question.
